Our next Cost of Living Support Roadshow is at 10am to 1pm on Thursday 19th January at Bells Gardens Community Centre, 19 Buller Close, Peckham SE15 6UJ.
There will be advisers to help at the event from a range of organisations, including Citizens Advice Southwark, Pecan, Spring Community Hub, Latin American Women’s Rights Service, Southwark Works, the DWP and also different teams from the council (including their Local Support Team).
The event will provide holistic advice and support to local people who are concerned about money and need benefits, debt, housing, income maximisation, energy, and employment support advice. We may also be able to help with applications to the Southwark Cost of Living Fund and/or with financial support for people with pre-payment meters, depending on eligibility.
A nurse will also be attending the event to provide free flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (for over 50s and those with certain health conditions), basic health checks, and health & wellbeing information.
